A visa comparison is only useful when the rows represent genuinely comparable concepts. Similar marketing labels—such as digital nomad, remote worker, freelancer, entrepreneur, or founder—can sit on top of very different legal structures.
Compare the applicant model first
Identify whether the route is based on employment, self-employment, business ownership, innovation, investment, or another basis. This matters more than the marketing label.
Keep uncertain fields visible
Do not treat an unknown fee, timeline, or long-term residence outcome as zero or “not required.” Missing information should remain missing until it can be verified.
Consider family and renewal separately
Initial eligibility, dependant eligibility, renewal conditions, and long-term residence are distinct questions. A comparison interface should not collapse them into one “easy/hard” score.
